Breaking the Pipeline Through Early Intervention

The school-to-prison pipeline is a troubling reality that disproportionately affects marginalized youth, steering them away from education and toward the justice system. One of the most effective ways to address this issue is through early intervention—providing support, resources, and guidance before a young person reaches a crisis point. Early intervention begins with recognizing warning signs such as chronic absenteeism, declining grades, behavioral issues, or disengagement from school activities.
